Scheduled Jobs

A scheduled job is a service performing a specific task that can be executed repeatedly at a given time interval or when an administratorAn administrator manages the system settings, works with access rights and adapts the platform to suit the needs of the users. In EPiServer CMS, the administrator has access to both the editorial and administration interface. In EPiServer Commerce an administrator also has access to the Commerce Manager interface. manually executes it. When installing EPiServer Commerce there will be a few scheduled jobs added to your website, that are specifically needed for Commerce functions. These scheduled jobs are administered from the EPiServer CMS administration interface, and are briefly described in the following sections.
