It is possible to hide fields in Edit mode so that editors cannot change the value that is saved for the property. The setting is configured per property and page type. As default, all the fields are visible in Edit mode.
Hide a field in Edit mode
Select the page type where the property you wish to be hidden is on the Page Type tab.
Click the name of the property that you wish to modify.
