The base of the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform is CMS, Optimizely Commerce, and Optimizely Campaign for content publishing, merchandising and campaign management. The platform can be extended with add-ons in areas like e-commerce, search, marketing, and personalization Adapt content to customized target groups for a more personalized website experience, such as displaying different content to first time and returning visitors. (See visitor groups.), providing a powerful and user-friendly foundation for managing the digital experience for your online visitors.

 Optimizely CMS

Optimizely CMS is a powerful yet easy to use web content management system, based on cutting edge technology. The intuitive user interface and superior usability of Optimizely CMS allow both experienced and occasional users to efficiently manage website content. Optimizely CMS is the foundation for the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform, and is required for most Optimizely products and extensions.

 Optimizely Commerce

Adding Optimizely Commerce to your CMS solution brings e-commerce functionality such as catalog, customer and order management, combining the powerful content publishing and display features of CMS with advanced back-end web shop management. Optimizely Commerce is part of the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform. It requires a specific installation and license.

 B2B Commerce

B2B Commerce brings e-commerce functionality directly targeted towards B2B customers. Its features include catalog, customer and order management, and combines powerful content publishing and display features of CMS with advanced back-end web shop management. B2B Commerce is part of the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform. It requires a specific installation and license.

 Optimizely PIM

Natively built to integrate with B2B Commerce, Optimizely PIM allows small teams to quickly setup their catalog and product data requirements and provides functionality to efficiently manage the data acquisition and curation process. It requires a specific installation and license.

 Optimizely Campaign

With Optimizely Campaign you can orchestrate omnichannel campaigns from a single screen, and send triggered emails based on real-time behavior. You can coordinate and segment large volumes of messages, including personalized product recommendation. Optimizely Campaign is part of the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform. It is delivered as a service, and requires specific license keys and setup. After service onboarding, you can access it from your web browser.

 Optimizely Search & Navigation

Optimizely Search & Navigation adds advanced search functionality to websites. Optimizely Search & Navigation bases search functionality on visitor search behavior and website statistics. Using this information, you can add automatic landing pages, adaptive navigation, and guided search to increase website traffic and boost conversion rates. Optimizely Search & Navigation is part of the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform. It is included in the Optimizely Cloud services; for on-premises installations it requires a specific installation and license.

 Optimizely Visitor Intelligence

Optimizely Visitor Intelligence is a user interface for viewing and filtering visitor profiles, and creating customer segments that can be used in omnichannel marketing campaigns. The Optimizely Visitor Intelligence information is based on tracking of the behavior of your online visitors, for example when viewing content, or products on an e-commerce site. Optimizely Visitor Intelligence is part of the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform. It requires a specific installation and license.

 Content Recommendations

Content Recommendations anonymously tracks visitor Someone who visits a website using a web browser. In most cases, a visitor can use public functions and services but cannot create content and has limited access to community content. In an SEO context, visitor means the number of visits to a URL through channels (external referrers), direct arrivals, and internal links. (See also visitor groups.) activity on a website to build a profiles for each visitor. Analysis of a unique profile lets you deliver the most relevant content to each visitor. For example, based on the visitor's activity on the website, the topic cloud in the following image shows a visitor's interest in retirement, which you can use to recommend articles, blog posts, or other content related to retirement planning.

 Product Recommendations

Product Recommendations lets you create and configure a merchandising campaign with personalized product recommendations from the personalization portal. Wherever you display your products – on the web or on a mobile device – Optimizely optimizes the ranking for every visitor, including behavioral data and merchandising strategies. Product Recommendations is part of the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform. It requires a specific installation and license.

 Email Product Recommendations

Email Product Recommendations lets you include personalized product recommendations in any email, including cart abandonment and retargeting emails, from the personalization portal. You can also work with behavioral triggers to detect on site behaviors and act upon them through automated personalized emails. There are many add-ons made by Optimizely and third-parties, available for extending your Optimizely Digital Experience Platform.
